Appeal For Witnesses Following Llandudno Burglary

North Wales Police are seeking witnesses after a stolen vehicle crashed into a house in Abergele last night, Tuesday November 1. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Det Sergeant Elfyn Hughes at St Asaph Burglary Team said; “Sometime between 6.30pm Saturday 29th and 11.30am Sunday 30th October a house was broken into in the Roumania Drive area of Llandudno where some clothing and a laptop were stolen together with the family car a silver coloured Toyota Corolla, registration FG56 FVO. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“At approximately 10.30pm last night, Tuesday 1st November the car crashed into a house on Llanddulas Road, Aberegle and two men were seen to run from the car into the near-by Tesco’s car park. Despite an early police presence the subsequent search for them proved fruitless. Fortunately no one in the house was injured, but the property has been damaged.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“We are appealing for witnesses to both the original break-in and abandoned vehicle in Abergele. If anyone witnessed any suspicious behaviour or activity or indeed know who is responsible please contact Police. It is worth reminding all house holders to be vigilant at all times and if you see any suspicious behaviour contact police immediately.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
