Appeal Re Incident In Bryniau Court Llandudno
Police are appealing for information following an incident in Bryniau Court Llandudno.
Officers were called to a domestic incident at around 10.15pm on Wednesday July 27 where a 24 year old local man was reported to be in possession of a knife.
During a confrontation with officers a Taser was discharged and the man fell sustaining a head injury.
He was treated by officers and paramedics at the scene and taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd.
Unfortunately his condition deteriorated during the night and he is currently being treated in hospital in Stoke.
DCI Jason Devonport said; “We understand there were members of the public in Bryniau Court, off Bryniau Road, as officers attended the scene. I would appeal to any witnesses to the incident to call police on 101 quoting reference number U111039.”
North Wales Police have referred the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
