Appeal: Serious Collision In Blaenau Ffestiniog

A man remains in a serious condition in hospital following a road traffic collision in Blaenau Ffestiniog yesterday morning (Sunday, July 7th). ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Shortly after 9am police were called to a report of a one-vehicle collision on the A496 Allt Goch between Maentwrog and Blaenau Ffestiniog involving a motorcycle. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital in Stoke by the air ambulance where he remains with serious life threatening injuries. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Police are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or to anybody who may have seen the motorcycle travelling along that particular stretch of road prior to the collision to come forward. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
