Burglar ‘Disturbed’ In Pensarn

North Wales Police are investigating after householders in Pensarn, Abergele returned home to discover their home being broken into. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Det Sergeant Elfyn Hughes at St Asaph Burglary Team said; “At about 5.30pm on Tuesday November 1 the householders returned to their home in Lon Kinmel, Pensarn to discover an intruder in the process of breaking into their home. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“The burglar, a man, was bravely challenged, but after a brief scuffle he was able to run from the house and he made off in the direction the town centre. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“Fortunately the occupants were uninjured, but clearly shaken by their encounter. At this stage it’s unclear what was stolen, but an investigation is underway. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“The offender is described as white male aged 45 to 50 years, 5’10 – 6’0 tall, average build, balding hair with an ear ring and wearing dark clothing. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“If anyone witnessed this break-in or any suspicious behaviour or knows who is responsible please contact police.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
