Continued Appeal To Trace Missing Woman
Posters have been distributed in an effort to trace a woman who has been missing from her Caernarfon home since Friday 1st April.
57-year-old Avril Whitfield is described as being white, between 5ft 5 and 5ft 6 and of slight build with ginger/red hair worn in a bob.
The posters have been distributed in and around the Caernarfon area in a further bid to trace Avril.
Police enquiries have revealed a possible sighting of Avril walking next to the roundabout on the A487 near Tesco, Caernarfon at about 9am on April 1st. She was wearing a three-quarter length black coat with the hood up.
Chief Inspector Richie Green said: “Investigations continue to try and trace Avril, and anybody who may have information is asked to contact us.
“We are becoming increasingly concerned for her whereabouts and are urging anybody who knows of her whereabouts to contact us immediately.
“Equally we are appealing direct to Avril to make contact with us to let us know that she is safe and well.”
Police enquiries are ongoing and anybody with information is asked to contact North Wales Police on 101, quoting reference number 15235.
