Denbigh: Drugs Warrants Executed
Three warrants were executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act in the Denbigh area this morning (Thursday, July 14).
Two of the three warrants proved positive after what is believed to be a quantity of Class A and B drugs recovered. Other items were seized including money.
“This mornings’ activities came as a result of concerns that had been raised by our communities,” said local District Inspector Gareth Jones. “We will act on information – today’s work is testament to this. It has seen officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, patrol and Operational Support Services all work together.”
“The items that have been recovered will now be subject to forensic tests. To date no arrests have been made however our investigations are continuing.”
He added: “As always, I encourage people living the area to continue to support us in our endeavours by relaying any information they may have relating to any illegal activity including the supply of controlled drugs to us by contacting officers on 101 or anonymously via the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
