Denbigh: Drugs Warrants Executed

Three warrants were executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act in the Denbigh area this morning (Thursday, July 14). ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Two of the three warrants proved positive after what is believed to be a quantity of Class A and B drugs recovered. Other items were seized including money. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“This mornings’ activities came as a result of concerns that had been raised by our communities,” said local District Inspector Gareth Jones. “We will act on information – today’s work is testament to this. It has seen officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, patrol and Operational Support Services all work together.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“The items that have been recovered will now be subject to forensic tests. To date no arrests have been made however our investigations are continuing.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
