Drugs Warrant Executed Near Ruthin
A man has been arrested after a drugs warrant was carried out at a property on the outskirts of Ruthin this morning (Wednesday, August 31st).
Officers uncovered a significant amount of what is believed to be cannabis during the warrant and police enquiries are ongoing.
The 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis and he remains in police custody.
Inspector Glen Brumby from the Local Policing Team said: “We will continue to take positive action against those who are involved in the possession and distribution of controlled drugs.
“However, we can’t tackle this problem alone and we need the community to help us by sharing their concerns with us. Information can be passed to Police in several ways, from either speaking to your local Police Officer or PCSO, contacting the control room direct via the live web chat or phoning 101 or messaging via Facebook or Twitter. Information can also be shared anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
