Drugs Warrant Executed Near Ruthin

A man has been arrested after a drugs warrant was carried out at a property on the outskirts of Ruthin this morning (Wednesday, August 31st). ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Officers uncovered a significant amount of what is believed to be cannabis during the warrant and police enquiries are ongoing. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis and he remains in police custody. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Inspector Glen Brumby from the Local Policing Team said: “We will continue to take positive action against those who are involved in the possession and distribution of controlled drugs. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
