Halloween Treasure Hunt In Abergele
A Halloween treasure hunt proved a resounding success for a group of Abergele youngsters.
Local children were invited to attend in Halloween fancy dress costumes to participate in the treasure hunt, organised by PCSOs Phil Roberts and Courtney Hughes at Pentre Mawr Park in Abergele.
Following the event the children then had opportunities to have an arts and crafts session with staff from the ‘BUS STOP’ who kindly attended with their special adapted vehicle.
A quiz based on promoting fire safety and the consequences of anti- social behaviour followed and all those who attended were presented with a ‘goody bag’.
PCSO Phil Roberts said: “A fun day was had by all the children who came along to the treasure hunt. And everyone was extremely grateful to the Abergele Tesco store who kindly donated fantastic prizes for the fancy dress competitors.”
“Without funding from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, the Arson Reduction Team and North Wales Police in partnership with PACT this initiative would never have taken place.”
