MP Supports Prestatyn’s Local Policing Team
Parliamentary acknowledgement for the local policing team tackling antisocial behaviour in Prestatyn.
Dr James Davies, Vale of Clwyd MP said: “I would like to thank the Prestatyn Neighbourhood Policing Team for their continued support in fighting anti-social behaviour in Prestatyn and Meliden.”
“Many steps have been taken to tackle anti-social behaviour and to stop any issues before they escalate. This includes working with the schools, community groups, members of the public and businesses to identify issues and ensure solutions.”
“The Police station has also been moved to the town centre to make it easier for officers and PCSO’s to regularly patrol the town.”
Last week an antisocial behaviour meeting was held to decide on a collaborative solution to recent concerns brought to their attention by members of the public.
Dr Davies added: “Work is continually ongoing behind the scenes to ensure that Prestatyn is a safe place to live, work and visit and I would like to commend the officers and PCSO’s for all that they do. Clearly there have been a number of issues on the Morfas recently and I am looking to the Police to ensure that these are tackled effectively.
“I would encourage anyone with concerns to report incidents to their local police force.”
