It is a year since North Wales Police introduced online surgeries for the public and as a result of their success they will now be rolled out across the county. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Flintshire County Council and Job Centre Plus also take part in the surgeries giving the public an opportunity to speak to any of the agencies about any issues they may have. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Sgt Mike Williams said; “The online surgery was introduced a year ago by officers in Flint. This has been well received from the outset and has enabled us to increase our accessibility. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“Our partner agencies have embraced this idea and often work closely with us offering a one stop service for advice and support. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“We are keen to now build on this service by offering it to all of our communities across Flintshire”. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Inspector Jon Bowcott added; “I think it is a positive step forward in the way we engage with our communities that we will now be able to join up the online surgery provision across the whole county building on the success already achieved by the team on North Flintshire. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“I would encourage the public to take part so that we can work with partners to provide a quality service to the communities we serve in turn contributing to our aim of “A Safer North Wales.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The next Flintshire North online surgery is on Friday 25th November. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
