Penycae And Pant Youths Team Up With Officers

More than 20 children from Pant and Penycae near Wrexham have recently taken part in community activities while learning of the dangers and consequences of anti-social behaviour, criminal damage and arson. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Inspector Jackie Downes said; “After the education sessions with local officers the group did leaflet drops in the local area and spoke to residents and giving out trick or treat signs. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“As a reward they went Go Karting. These sessions and similar event have proved to have a significant impact on number of calls the police receive of over this period.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
