Penygroes Suspicious Death Update

North Wales Police have arrested two male suspects as part of an ongoing investigation into the suspicious death of a local woman who was found at a property in Penygroes earlier this morning, Monday 18th July. They are currently detained at Caernarfon Police Station. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The deceased has not yet been formally identified and a Home Office post mortem examination will be conducted tomorrow morning. Her Majesty’s Coroner Dewi Pritchard Jones has been notified. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Detectives are in the process of interviewing witnesses who have heard a disturbance in the Llwyndu Road area of Penygroes earlier this morning, and want to hear from anyone who can assist as soon as possible. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
