Investigating Officer PC Elwyn Williams said “Just before 8.30pm on Tuesday 2nd August a 21 year old student from Bangladesh was walking by Our Lady’s School in Caernarfon Road Bangor when he was assaulted and racially abused. Although the physical injuries are not serious this was clearly a very distressing and totally unprovoked attack and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the offender to contact Police immediately.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“The offender is described as a white male, in his 20’s, 5’8 tall, skinny build with a round face and ginger hair wearing a light grey zipped hooded top & dark coloured tracksuit bottoms. He spoke in Welsh with a local accent and following the attack he continued to walk into Bangor.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

If you can assist with this investigation please contact North Wales Police on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and quote RC16114642. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
