Road Safety Operation In The Conwy Valley Area
North Wales Police will be holding a multi-agency road safety operation in the Conwy Valley area later this month with an emphasis on enforcement, engagement and education.
Officers from Local Policing Services and the Roads Policing Unit will be conducting high visibility patrols with support from partner agencies to enforce the ‘Fatal 5’ offences which include failing to wear a seatbelt, drink and drug driving, dangerous driving, speeding and using a mobile phone whilst driving.
The operation is aimed at reducing the number of fatalities and serious injuries sustained on our roads.
If you have any information regarding someone you think is driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs or who may be driving whilst disqualified or otherwise than in accordance with their license, please contact North Wales Police via the new web live chat /contact/chat-support.aspx
