Serious Collision In Cerrigydrudion: Appeal

A man is in a critical condition following a serious road traffic collision in Conwy county evening (Wednesday, 13th July). ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Shortly before 6pm North Wales Police were informed of four-vehicle collision on the B4501 in Cerrigydrudion involving a motorcycle, VW Golf, VW Jetta and a tractor. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The emergency services attended and the motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital in Stoke with life-threatening injuries. His condition is currently described as critical. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The road was closed whilst officers continued with their investigation and was re-opened shortly before midnight. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Police are appealing for anybody who may have witnessed the collision to contact officers at the Roads Policing Unit on 101, quoting reference number U102898. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
