Stones Thrown On A55 Appeal

Police are appealing for witnesses after stones were thrown at a moving vehicle on the A55 J25 at Bodelwyddan. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

At around 2.45pm on Monday August 1 police received reports that three youths were seen throwing stones from the bridge between Bodelwyddan and Bodelwyddan Castle. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Officers attended and searched the area. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

PCSO Phillip Roberts said: “We believe one of the youths was wearing a baseball cap and that a female with long brown hair was also involved. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“The consequences of this criminal behaviour could have been fatal and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information about the suspects, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number U113836.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
