Suspicious Death Penygroes, Caernarfon

North Wales Police confirm they are currently investigating the suspicious death of a local woman who was found at a property in Penygroes earlier this morning, Monday 18th July 2016. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Chief Inspector Mark Armstrong at Caernarfon Police Station said. “At approximately 10.45am this morning officers we called to an address in Penygroes after the body of a local woman was discovered. Her death is being treated as suspicious and a major incident room has been set up with investigators already deployed to speak with residents in the area. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“Family Liaison Officers are currently supporting the victim’s family and we have increased a uniform presence in the village to reassure local residents. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“At this time no one has been arrested and investigators want to hear from anyone who can assist to contact Police as soon as possible.
