Suspicious Van Appeal Borras Wrexham

Police are appealing information following a report of three men in a van behaving suspiciously in Borras, Wrexham. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Police were alerted this morning, Thursday November 17 to a report that a white box van had pulled up on Norfolk Road in front of a 12 year old girl on her way to school. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

One of the men is understood to have got out of the vehicle and made his way towards the child who ran off to a place of safety. The suspect then returned in the direction he had come from. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

No contact was made and the child was unharmed. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

DS Anne Louise Jones said; “This was clearly a distressing incident for the young girl and fortunately she came to no harm. I am appealing to anyone who saw a white box van in the Norfolk Road area at around 8.15am, or who saw any suspicious behaviour to contact police on 101 quoting reference U174144.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
