Thanks To Op Bang Funding
There was no come back for a group of Rhyl children who took to painting graffiti in their school last week.
Thanks to Op Bang funding, PCSO Sabrina Illman arranged a two day graffiti workshop for 25 pupils from Ysgol Bryn Hedydd in Rhyl.
And with the help of Andy Birch (AKA DimeOne), the first day was about learning to do graffiti style art which ended with them making a wooden name plaque. Then on the second day each of the children were given an opportunity to complete an area of the artwork as they all helped prepare and spray a shipping container.
PCSO 2804 Illman said: “The theme was on the risks presented by setting fires and other forms of anti-social behaviour. These presentations were reinforced by the lawful and positive use of graffiti style art work on a shipping container, which will go towards improving the environment of the school.”
The youngsters were supported by some of the local cadets and all those who took part were given food and sweets, donated on both days by local Spar and Denmor Store on the Coast Road.
