Tools Stolen From Van In West Conwy
North Wales Police are urging van drivers to be vigilant and remove valuables from their vehicles following a recent spate of thefts.
Over the last few weeks police have received many reports of vans being targeted in the West Conwy area whereby power tools have been stolen.
Officers are reminding motorists to remove any valuables from their vehicles to deter thieves from targeting them.
David Williams, from the North Wales Police Community Safety Department said: “Always make sure vehicles are securely locked, all windows are closed and any items of value including tools are taken out whenever a vehicle is unattended.
“Residents are also encouraged to ensure any alarm or immobiliser features are enabled on their vehicle, and can consider security marking their valuable items using commercially-available product markers which can help identify any recovered stolen property.”
