Warning To Residents In Deganwy
Police are urging people to look at their home security following a spate of burglaries in the Deganwy area.
The past two weeks has seen an increase in reported house burglaries in and around Deganwy, with properties being targeted in the Albert Drive, Warren Drive, Deganwy Beach and St George’s Drive areas.
In a bid to prevent opportunist thieves, police want to encourage the public to ensure they review their security and keep doors and windows locked.
Detective Sergeant Rebecca Hughes said: “Investigations are ongoing. We are working to identify those responsible for these burglaries in a bid to bring them to justice and thus reduce the offences.”
Anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity in the Deganwy area is urged to contact Det Sgt Hughes at the burglary team in St Asaph on 101.
