Appeal – Assault, Pontllanfraith

We’re appealing for information following an assault that took place on Clos Trefin in Pontllanfraith at approximately 5.50pm yesterday, 13th June. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A 31 year old man from Pontllanfraith was walking along the road when he was approached and attacked by two men, a third man later joined them. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

He sustained head and facial injuries and was taken to Royal Gwent Hospital for treatment. He has since been released. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Three men aged 41, 25 and 23 have been arrested on suspicion of assault and are currently in police custody. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
