Appeal Following An Assault In Newport On New Years Eve

At approximately 10.10pm on Saturday 31st December 2016 Gwent Police were called to an assault on Edward V11 Avenue, Newport. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A 19 year old male received life changing injuries and is still currently being treated at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A 22 year old male from Newport has been charged and will appear before the courts on the 24th January 2016. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
