Appeal For Informations Following An RTC On Malpas Road, Newport.

On Sunday the 26th of June 2016 at approximately 7:35am Gwent Police received reports of a road traffic collision along Malpas Road in Newport. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The incident involved two vehicles, a Honda motorcycle and a BMW car. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The rider of the motorcycle and a pedestrian were taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital with serious injuries. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Both are now said to be recovering. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Officers investigating the circumstances of this incident and are appealing for anyone who may been passing the location or witnessed the collision to contact Gwent Police on 101 quoting log 169 26/6/16 ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
