New Special Constables Welcomed To The Force

Assistant Chief Constable Richard Lewis welcomed our newest recruits – 18 Special Constables yesterday, Monday, March 13 at an official ceremony held at the Court Colman Manor Hotel. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Special Constables’ family and friends were invited to witness this momentous event. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Each of the 18 officers have expressed how keen they are to start serving their local community. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Special Constables come from numerous occupations and include a chartered engineer, leisure centre worker, a number of students studying Police Science and one is a supervisor from our Public Service Centre. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
