Congratulations to PC Stephen Davies who received a Rhondda Cynon Taf Council Mayor’s Good Citizen Award for Services to Charity. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

PC Davies was involved in an incident where he used a defibrillator and this made him think about how important they are and how they should be easy accessible to everyone. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Since then he has been actively fundraising in his spare time to purchase more defibrillators. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Inspector Dave Gordon said: “We are extremely proud of PC Davies getting this award, not only does he serves his community when on duty, but while off duty he is using his time to raise money for life saving equipment for them.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
