Jack Straw To Focus On UK Foreign Policy At USW Lecture

What’s the point of UK foreign policy? ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

That’s the question Jack Straw, former Foreign Secretary, Home Secretary, and Justice Secretary, will ask at a lecture being held at the University of South Wales (USW) later this month. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The talk, which is open to the public, as well as school and college groups, will be held at noon on March 16 at USW’s Treforest Campus. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A part of USW’s Global Choices: Talking Points series, Mr Straw’s talk follows lectures by other well-known figures, included Lord Hain of Neath; Sir Richard Dearlove, former Head of MI6, and Dyfrig John CBE, former CEO of HSBC ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
