Open Day For Prospective Students
PROSPECTIVE students are being invited to an Open Day at the University of South Wales later this month.
Its Pontypridd, Cardiff and Newport City campuses will be open on Saturday, October 22, for anyone who wants to find out if university is right for them.
“You can discuss course options, learn about student finance, explore our campuses and find out about accommodation,” said Sarah Watkins, the University’s UK Student Recruitment Manager.
“The Open Day is tailored to you and your subject. You’ll have your own personalised timetable, and many of our subject areas offer exciting workshops and sample lectures as part of the event.”
Prospective students will also have the opportunity to meet lecturers and current students, tour the campus and accommodation, and receive advice on all things fees and finance.
The Open Day at Newport City campus is a must for budding teachers; with a specially-designed Teacher Training event where prospective students can meet teaching lecturers, participate in interactive subject sessions and gain valuable tips ready for teaching interviews.
More can be found on the University’s UniBox mobile app – which gives information about subjects, timetables, and directions to the right campus.Open Day For Prospective Students
