Damon, who joined the University earlier this year to lead on the popular music degree in Cardiff, has a busy schedule of teaching, recording and studying for a PhD – all in a days work for the talented bassist who himself has scored five top five albums and 15 top 20 singles during his career. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“ It’s an exciting time for Music at USW” commented Richard J. Parfitt, Principal Lecturer and Academic manager for Music. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“ Not only are our staff, producing music and working with key industry players, but we’re also offering a whole host of masterclasses to our students – recently we’ve had Ken Scott, Amy Wadge, David McAlmont, Gruff Rhys, and Greg Haver in as visiting guests”. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
