Students’ Creations On Show In City Centre
VISITORS to Cardiff city centre can, from later this month, see for themselves the creations of University of South Wales (USW) students.
As part of the USW Creative Graduate Festival – which showcases and celebrates the work of the institution’s creative industry students – they are taking over the former H&M space in the Capitol Shopping Centre.
For four weeks from May 27, students who have been studying illustration, advertising design, graphic communication, TV and film set design, and interior design, will be among those displaying work from their final year projects.
Also on display will be projects from animation, games and visual effects students, and those who are studying on USW’s various photography courses.
Later this summer, students will also be showcasing their work further afield.
Work by Photography for Fashion and Advertising students will be on show at Boundary Art in Cardiff Bay between June 4 and June 25, and then at the Old Truman Brewery in London from June 30 until July 4.
Meanwhile, BA (Hons) Advertising and BA (Hons) Graphic Communication students will display their work at the D&AD New Blood Festival, in Shoreditch, London, from July 5 to July 7.
