Gaming Livestream Raises Lifesaving Funds For WAA

Gamers from all over the world will be helping to raise a lifesaving donation for Wales Air Ambulance, by taking part in an eight hour gaming event. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Adam Gale, is hosting a charity live stream on March 28 to raise funds for Wales Air Ambulance and help the charity to fund their helicopter missions. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Gamers from all over the world will take part in the eight hour event, which will feature four sets of two hour sessions, playing different games. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Participants will also be able to get their hands on prizes, with an online raffle taking place in the event in aid of WAA. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The 2016 Gamescroller Charity Stream is the second event held in aid of Wales Air Ambulance. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

In November 2015, a similar event was held; helping Wales Air Ambulance to raise the £6 million needed every year to allow the charity to run its services. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Adam said: “I strongly believe that this service deserves our support.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Mark Stevens, Wales Air Ambulance Fundraising Manager, said: “This live streaming event is such a unique way of fundraising! ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“This is the second time Gamescroller have supported us, helping us to raise the funds needed to keep our helicopters flying over Wales. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
