50+ And Living Well In Event Cardigan
A 50+ & Living Well event will be held on 1 March 2017 to support the wellbeing of older people in Ceredigion and to share useful information.
Following a successful Living Well event in Aberaeron, a warm welcome is extended to all to attend the event in the Guildhall in Cardigan between 2pm-5pm.
This year’s theme focuses on financial wellbeing and there will be a chance to listen to speakers and presentations on community safety and staying safe in your home during the afternoon. Matters such as online banking and online safety will also be discussed.
The Illegal Money Lending Unit and West Wales Credit Union and others will be present to share useful information to help people be safe and to support a full life. During the event information about financial wellbeing and people over 50 in Ceredigion will be shared and details of services available in the county will be made available.
Councillor Catherine Hughes, the cabinet member responsible for care services and the Older People’s Champion said, “It’s pleasing to see that such a broad range of topics will be discussed in the Guildhall, I’m sure the afternoon will be an interesting and useful one for everyone attending.”
