Friends and acquaintances of Daniel James Cobain, the 23-year-old who tragically lost his life in a road traffic collision on the A40, are urged to help Dyfed Powys Police in its investigation. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Officers would like to hear from anyone who had contact with Daniel on the night of Saturday January 23. The contact may have been in person, by phone, text message or an interaction on social media. Any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could help officers accurately work out the time of the collision. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The last confirmed sighting of Daniel was at approximately 5:30pm on Saturday January 23 when he left home and the collision was not discovered until 12.40am on Sunday, January 24 – some seven hours later. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Please contact Sgt Ian Price or PC Leighton Webb at Carmarthenshire Roads Policing Unit with any information by calling 101. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
