More Well-being consultation sessions

More drop in sessions have been announced by the multi-agency Public Service Board (PSB). ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Powys PSB is publishing a Draft Well-being Assessment as part of its response to the Welsh Government’s Well-being of Future Generations Act. And the board now wishes to check with local people to see if it is on the right lines. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The first drop in session were announced last week and we can now release details of events in Newtown and Llandrindod Wells. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Public drop in events are taking place across the county as follows: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

• Montgomery Town Market: Thursday 9 February, 10am-12.30pm
• Llandrindod Leisure Centre: Monday 13 February, 11am-1pm
• Ystradgynlais Library: Monday 13 February, 10am-12pm
• Knighton Library: Tuesday 14 February, 10am-1pm

Sessions have already been held in Welshpool, Rhayader and Presteigne and more dates in other locations are being planned. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

In addition, an unstaffed display about the consultation will be at Brecon Library from Saturday February 11th to the 18th. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Those people who attend the drop in events will be invited to take part in a prize draw to win a well-being hamper. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

In addition, representatives of the board will be meeting with community groups across the county during February. And for those people who won’t be able to make the drop in events, an online survey is available via www.powys.gov.uk/haveyoursay. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The PSB is made up of Powys County Council, Powys Teaching Health Board, Mid and West Wales Fire Service, Natural Resources Wales, Powys Association of Voluntary Organisations, Dyfed Powys Police, Police and Crime Commissioner, the Welsh Government, Brecon Beacons National Park Authority and the Probation Service. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
