Meet The Author: Ian Andrew
Author Ian Andrew will be in Llandudno to celebrate the official release of his new book ‘Flight Path’ – the second in the Wright and Tran series of detective novels.
- Llandudno Library
- Thursday 24 March
- 6.00-7.30pm
Ian is visiting Llandudno Library to talk about his latest book, featuring Kara Wright and Tien Tran, former members of an elite intelligence gathering team active in Afghanistan, Iraq, and places still classified, who now make their living through private investigation service, Wright & Tran.
Born in Northern Ireland and now living in Australia, Ian explains why he’s visiting Llandudno on his book tour.
He said: “Well, it all dates back to the early ‘70s really. My aunt and uncle lived in the town and were members of Alex Munro’s group at the Pier Pavilion and Happy Valley. My sisters and I would come on summer holidays and many a happy hour I spent in the pier amusements.
“Fast forward a lot of years and when I joined the Royal Air Force, Llandudno was my respite on many a weekend if I could get away from the bases I found myself serving at. Add to that I still have family and friends in the area and it all seemed perfectly natural that one stop on my 2016 UK tour should be Llandudno.”
