Work To Relocate Electricity Sub-Station

Colwyn Bay Regeneration and Office Accommodation Project ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Muse Developments, the Council’s Development Partner for the Office Accommodation Project, has recently submitted the planning application for the new offices in Colwyn Bay. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

If construction work on new office begins as anticipated in mid-2016 (subject to planning approval), it will be necessary to relocate the electricity sub-station currently sited in the Lansdowne Road Car Park. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Bowmer and Kirkland, the construction contractor working with Muse, intend to start this preparation work on Monday 18th April, 2016. The work to relocate the electricity sub-station is expected to take approximately 3 months and will take up about 20 car park spaces. However, the remainder of the car park will remain open as usual. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
