Travel Information For Armed Forces Day

Denbighshire County Council has announced parking and travel arrangements for visitors to the North Wales Armed Forces Day at Bodelwyddan Castle on Saturday, 18 June. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Vehicles can park on the main Bodelwyddan Castle site. In the event of the car park becoming full, motorists will be re-directed to an overspill car park at the former Hotpoint site. Signs will also be put in place and a shuttle bus will be in place to transport visitors to the event. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

For those visitors travelling by public transport, people using local bus services 13, 45, 46, 51 & X52 should leave their bus at Glan Clwyd Hospital (Main Stop). The Council has arranged for a shuttle bus to transport those passengers to Bodelwyddan Castle drop-off point situated close to the main entrance at regular intervals during the event. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
