Councillor Invites Residents To Community Clear-Up

A clear-up event at Stryt Las Park, Johnstown, will take place from 10am until noon on Saturday, July 30. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Cllr David A Bithell, local member for Johnstown, said: “I would like to invite anyone who has a couple of hours to spare to come along on Saturday and help clear litter from the country park.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The event is organised by Keep Wales Tidy and Wrexham County Borough Council. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Volunteers are asked to meet at Ffordd Offa before the clear-up, and all children attending must be accompanied by an adult. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
