Work to refurbish Wrexham Cemetery is due to enter a new phase and members of the public are invited to take part.. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

A part time Development Officer has been appointed through Heritage Lottery Funding to encourage community involvement. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The first challenge is to gather stories about the Cemetery’s history that could be used on new information panels and trails around the Cemetery. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

If you have an interesting tale to tell, or would just like to get involved, please contact the new Cemetery Development Officer John Whittaker on 07753771645 or john.whittaker@wrexham.gov.uk ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
