NMWTRA Revise Plans For A483

North and Mid Wales Trunk Road Agency has announced that they have revised their proposals for resurfacing works on the A483 which should bring less disruption than previously feared. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for the Environment and Transport, said: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“I am pleased to say that following my representations to the Welsh Government the proposed resurfacing works on the A483 will now take place only at night which will significantly reduce the problems presented with the original proposals.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

In order to undertake the works there will however be disruption on Tuesday 7 February when preliminary works will be undertaken and the A483 between Junctions 5 to 6 (B&Q Roundabout to Gresford Roundabout) will have a lane closed both ways during the morning. Drivers should expect delays and allow extra time or find an alternative route. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
