Tree Works, Wrexham Cemetery

Safety work to remove the line of conifers along the railway line at the north end of Wrexham Cemetery will be undertaken during early February. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Cllr David A Bithell, Lead Member for the Environment and Transport, said: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“The trees have become increasingly unstable and need to be removed. It is planned to create a hedge along the edge of the railway line in the winter of 2017 to help screen the edge of the cemetery site and provide a replacement landscape feature.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
