Sport Camps Are Back For February Half Term

Sport Caerphilly’s sport camps are back for February half term, with spaces available for football, netball and hockey activities. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Football and netball camps for children age 3 to 6 are on offer at Newbridge Leisure Centre during half term, with sessions on Monday 20th and Thursday 23rd February. Football sessions are from 10am until 12pm, with netball from 1pm until 3pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Each session costs £5 per child and must be booked in advance. Please call Newbridge Leisure Centre on 01495 248100 for more information or to book a space. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

There are also a number of sport sessions available for children age 7 to 12 at a number of leisure centres throughout the county borough, these are: – ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Football: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

  1. Pontllanfraith Leisure Centre on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st February from 9am until 3pm
  2. Heolddu Leisure Centre on Tuesday 21st February from 9am until 12pm
  3. Centre for Sporting Excellence, Ystrad Mynach on Wednesday 22nd February and Thursday 23rd February from 9am until 3pm
  4. Risca Leisure Centre on Wednesday 22nd February from 9am until 3pm.

Netball: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

  • Heolddu Leisure Centre on Monday 20th February from 9am until 12pm

  • St Cenydd on Wednesday 22nd February from 9am until 3pm

  • Sue Noake on Wednesday 22nd February from 9am until 12pm
  • St Cenydd on Thursday 23rd February from 9am until 12pm
