Stargazing With Dark Skies Wales At Cwmcarn Forest

Visit Cwmcarn Forest on Sunday 29 January for an exciting night with the stars! ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Joined by the experts of Dark Skies Wales, the evening will commence at the Visitor Centre with a short talk about the stars in the night sky, and some of the folklore and mythology round their names. Then take a short walk to the lake, armed with telescopes and binoculars, to take a close look at the Cwmcarn night sky. There will be plenty of hot chocolate and biscuits! ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The event takes place on Sunday 29 January starting at 6pm. Booking is essential and the cost is £7.50 for adults and £4.50 for children. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
