Margam Park Needs Your Help!

Do you know the difference between your Daisies and your Daliahs? Then Margam Country Park is interested in hearing from you.
Every year Margam takes on volunteers to help with specific projects and this year, the park is seeking gardening enthusiasts. If you have a few hours to spare each week and are interested in gardening, then why not consider volunteering at the park.
All volunteers will work closely with Gary the Gardener and will have the chance to undertake a variety of different projects. Jobs will include pruning, weeding, planting, and edging. Training will be offered as will also the opportunity to practice old skills as well as pick up new ones from the rest of the gardening team.
Council Leader, Cllr Ali Thomas, OBE said: “Margam Park is such an important landmark both for residents of and visitors to the County Borough. We are extremely grateful to the volunteers who get involved each year. Their help is invaluable to the maintenance of the park and castle grounds.”
