Easter Waste Collections In Newport

Residents in Newport are reminded that bin collection days will be affected by the Easter holidays. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Friday 25 March is a normal collection day, but there is no collection on Easter Monday, 28 March, instead bins will be collected on Tuesday 29 March. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Collections due on Tuesday 29 March will be collected on Wednesday, 30 March and for those whose normal collection is Wednesday; bins will be collected on Thursday 31 March. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Collections due on Thursday 31 March will be collected Friday 1 April. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

For residents whose normal day would be Friday 1 April bins will be collected on Saturday 2 April. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

For residents who have arranged special collections these will take place on the following days: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

  • Friday 25 March is normal;
  • Monday 28 March no collections, these will take place Tuesday 29 March;
  • those due on Tuesday 29 March will take place on Wednesday 30 March, and
  • collections normally due on Wednesday 30 March will take place on Thursday 31 March.
  • special collections due on Thursday 31 March will take place Friday 1 April with normal service resuming for Friday collections with pick-ups on that day.

Collections on Friday 1 April are normal. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
