“I’m absolutely thrilled at the appointment” said Mr Palmer. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“I’ve no doubt that the fabulous new building will add greatly to the experiences of the children, but also to the community as a whole. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“Though there will undoubtedly be nerves about such a big change from infant and junior settings, I’m certain that a primary school that respects the traditions of the infant and junior schools will give the best of both for children in Tenby. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“It’s a wonderful opportunity and I can’t wait to get started.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The Chair of the temporary governing board, Niki Craig, said: “We are delighted with the appointment of Mr Palmer, and look forward to working together over the coming weeks, planning the new school. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“We are excited about confirming the name of the school, and involving the children in designing a new school logo and uniform. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
