Interested In Standing For County Council?

The Returning Officer for Pembrokeshire, Ian Westley, will be holding seminars in March for anyone who is considering standing for County Council in the forthcoming local government elections in May. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The seminars will be held on Monday 13th and Wednesday 15th March, in the Committee Rooms, County Hall, Haverfordwest, commencing at 6.00pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The same information will be presented at each seminar, including: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

• details of the timetable and deadlines
• the nominations process and completing nomination forms
• the code of conduct for campaigners
• spending and donations
• details regarding the count and postal vote opening arrangements
• and other matters relating to the election process.
