Last Chance To Apply To The Victims Fund
The closing date for applications for funding from the South Wales Police and Crime Commissioner’s Victims Fund is fast approaching and the call has gone out for anyone considering applying for support to submit their bids by Wednesday 13th April.
The newly established fund £250,000 fund is open to organisations and groups from the voluntary and third sector and can support new or existing projects that work with individuals and their family members who have been affected by crime.
The fund welcomes innovative projects that complement existing support services for victims.
Local community organisations and voluntary groups based in the South Wales Police force area can apply for funding ranging from £1,000 to as much as £20,000.
All applicants to the fund, which is managed by Community Foundation in Wales, need to be delivering – or proposing to deliver – specialist services focused on helping victims and their family members cope and recover from the impact of crime.
