Yesterday saw South Wales Police Specialist Operations join Twitter. The new account aims to ensure that the community of South Wales gets to see behind the scenes of the Specialist Operations.
South Wales Police, Chief Superintendent Josh Jones said:
“Enhancing public reassurance is central to what we do within Specialist Operations, the new twitter account is a way of us showing the public what we are achieving through during day to day policing and in the planning and policing of major events.
“Specialist Operations within South Wales Police is an exciting and diverse area of work. This new twitter account will see updates from Dogs and Mounted; Territorial Support Team, Specialist Search and Recovery Team; Firearms and much more.
“I urge members of the public to follow us and engage with us on Twitter. The communications we receive will shape the content which is displayed on this account in near the future”
