A market day will be taking place this Sunday (29 January) at Llanyrafon Manor. There will be the usual ranges of food on offer and craft stalls. Additionally, there will be live music from Pilli Pali Accordionists and Coed Filias will be demonstrating spoon carving and wood whittling in the heritage rooms. The heritage and museum rooms have now been re-arranged so that customers can now enjoy their food and drink with a taste of history from the tudor, victorian and WWII period. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

On Sunday February 26, there will be a special St David’s Day themed market day. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The manor has also launched a second hand library bookshop, following a business model used by the National Trust, with over 1000 books being donated so far. All funds raised from the purchase of books will be reinvested into the manor to buy things that can be used / enjoyed by the people who visit. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
